Dear December II
End of an year
You bring people close,
You push some apart,
You make promises,
You leave with deceit,
You build resolutions,
You show failures,
You bring in gifts,
You ask for sacrifices,
But why do you do this to us, December?
— It’s not me who does this. It’s people. I’m the last month, the last hope, the last clue. I’m the time you look back in your year and pick up your pieces.
But it’s hard on us, December?
— Wait till January hits. It’ll be filled with new promises, new mistakes and new lessons. We will meet again next December!
